Volunteer

Help Needed for these Special Events!

We're planning for two of our biggest annual events, and will need lots of volunteer help to make them a success!

WAEB 790 AM's Spaghetti Dinner to benefit the Mission will take place on Saturday, October 16th, from 4-7 pm at Asbury United Methodist Church in Allentown. We'll need 80 or more volunteers to help throughout the day.

We'll also need lots of volunteers Friday, November 19th & Saturday, November 20th to help us with our annual Thanks for Giving Supplies and Food Drive at area Wal*Mart stores and Giant Food Stores. You can help at the event and/or collect supplies & food in advance!

To register to help for either event, fill out the online volunteer form below.

Share what you do best!

The Mission needs people with a variety of skills and talents.

  • Volunteers who can commit small amounts of time consistently as needed.
Regular volunteering hours are Monday-Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
    Opportunities for minors are limited.

  • Volunteers who can interact with churches.
You can volunteer by being a liaison between the Mission and your church, business, or community group. No experience necessary, we can provide the resources.

  • Featured Opportunity: We have a great volunteer hairstylist who cuts hair for the clients on a regular basis. But we have more hair than she has time! Could you help out? We’re looking for a volunteer who can give their time and talent once a month on a Wednesday around the lunch hour.

  • Volunteer Bake Sale Benefits Mission
Marianne (Mary) Knapp, a loyal Mission supporter, sold a variety of baked goods on Sunday, March 28th at the Wal*Mart Supercenter in Easton.
Mary baked the goodies herself, and is donating the proceeds to the Mission. Bill Dickinson, the Mission's Director of Development,
stopped by for some samples and raved, "They were delicious!"

THANK YOU, Mary, for your hard work and dedication!

You can volunteer by mail or by completing the information below. We can email you volunteer opportunities as we have need.
